The P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum of
Contemporary Art is an artistic organism, both mobile formation and institution, founded
in the winter of 1990. It serves as a critical model and a spiritual structure which
assumes the outward name and form of a "museum", but functions autoreferentially
and transparently at the same time: it reveals a strategy and analyses processes and
rules.
